  • Leverage open-source innovations to create novel testing tools.
  • Improve product quality platform-wide and collaborate on root-causing production outages to prevent future issues.
  • Create and maintain test infrastructure, build automation frameworks/packages, and delve into backend development for comprehensive testing.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, bring:

  • United States Citizenship or Permanent Residency (no clearance needed, but periodic background/fingerprint checks apply).
  • 7+ years combined SDET/Backend Developer experience focused on distributed services and APIs.
  • 2-3+ years building testing frameworks for Cloud SaaS products.
  • Computer science background or equivalent (programming, data structures, algorithms).
  • Expertise in Go/Python/Scala/Java/C++/JS, networking, web services (JSON/REST/RPC), AWS, RDBMS/NoSQL/caching (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Cassandra/Redis).
  • Strong debugging skills for design flaws, race conditions, performance in complex systems.
  • Experience in application/OS/browser/hardware testing, security understanding, and creatively breaking software.

Bonus Points: Open-source leadership (GitHub/Stack Overflow/blogging), exposure to Go/AWS/Cassandra/Kafka/Elasticsearch/gRPC/Docker/Kubernetes/Jenkins.
