Join CrowdStrike's Falcon For IT product team as an Engineer III - Content in Bangalore, India. In this pivotal role, you'll create and maintain a global library of IT automation scripts deployed to millions of endpoints worldwide. If you're a systems administrator who's automated repetitive tasks, scripted across thousands of servers, and grasps the critical difference between 'works on my laptop' and 'works on 10,000 production endpoints,' this is your opportunity. Author native OS scripts in PowerShell, Bash, Zsh, Python automation, OSQuery queries, and visualization dashboards solving real-world IT challenges like health monitoring, inventory collection, compliance checking, and system remediation. Unlike traditional sysadmin roles managing infrastructure, you'll build the automation tools thousands of IT teams use—scaling your impact to more endpoints than most manage in a career. Key Responsibilities

Script Development at Scale

Author production-grade automation scripts for Windows (PowerShell), Linux (Bash), and macOS (Zsh) that execute safely across massive fleets. Focus on efficiency to avoid impacting user productivity on resource-constrained devices.

IT Operations Content Creation

Build content for system health checks, inventory collection, performance monitoring, compliance validation, remediation tasks, and more, directly addressing customer pain points in IT operations.

Visualization and Optimization

Create dashboards using CrowdStrike's Next-Gen SIEM (LogScale/Humio) to display script data and metrics. Design cross-platform solutions where feasible, with platform-specific tweaks as needed.

Quality Assurance and Collaboration

Validate content via code review, testing, and security analysis. Collaborate with IT operations teams to translate real-world problems into automation. Maintain the content publication pipeline with engineering teams and source third-party content meeting CrowdStrike standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel as Engineer III - Content, bring 5+ years of systems administration with a heavy focus on automation/scripting in at least one domain:

• Windows: Advanced PowerShell (5.1+), Windows internals (registry, services, event logs, WMI/CIM, scheduled tasks), Active Directory, Group Policy, performance optimization (.NET vs cmdlets).
• Linux: Advanced portable Bash (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, etc.), systemd, package managers, process management, safe scripting.
• macOS: Zsh scripting proficiency.

Familiarity with OSQuery, Python, Git, VSCode, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and AWS is advantageous. Experience scaling scripts to thousands of endpoints is essential.
