Role Overview

This Engineer III - MacOS, Data Protection role (Hybrid, ISR) is based in Tel Aviv, Israel, within the Data Protection Team of our Data Security Product Group. The team's mission is to create a unified data security system that detects insider threats, tracks sensitive data access and movement, and ensures regulatory compliance by minimizing data loss risks. You'll focus on the CrowdStrike Falcon Host sensor—a lightweight macOS agent that monitors system activity, identifies malicious behavior, provides on-box prevention, and streams telemetry to the cloud. The cloud aggregates this data for threat correlation and prioritized insights. As a macOS developer, you'll own data protection features centered on file interfaces and Endpoint Security System Extensions, operating in an Agile environment with frequent releases.

Key Technologies and Focus Areas

Qualifications & Requirements

• Demonstrated capabilities in Objective-C and/or C++ through professional experience or open-source contributions.
• Strong experience with macOS debugging tools and frameworks.
