Role Overview

The Engineer, IT Quality Control - Mobile Automation Testing role in our Bangalore GCC is pivotal for ensuring the highest standards in IT products and processes. This position focuses on mobile automation testing, collaborating with IT Project Management, Business Integration, and Application Development teams to identify risks, conduct audits, and implement quality procedures. With 5-8 years of experience, you'll drive compliance and excellence in healthcare technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

As an IT Quality Control Engineer, your core duties include:

  • Designing and writing automated test scripts for mobile applications using Selenium Appium, including test data definition.
  • Executing automated testing for hybrid and native apps on iOS and Android platforms via physical devices and cloud tools like BrowserStack or Perfecto.
  • Conducting API, web application, and non-functional testing to validate functionality and performance.
  • Analyzing IT products for compliance with internal and external standards, performing regular audits.
  • Collaborating with global development teams in India and beyond to enhance code quality and resolve technical issues.
  • Applying judgment to solve moderate-complexity problems within defined parameters, receiving general guidance on new projects.

Qualifications & Requirements

Mandatory Skills

  • 5-8 years as a software automation tester with core expertise in mobile automation testing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or software-related discipline.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Selenium Appium for mobile apps, plus API and web testing.
  • Proven testing of iOS/Android hybrid and native apps using physical devices and cloud platforms (BrowserStack, Perfecto).
  • Strong knowledge of software test methodologies, tools, processes, and non-functional testing.
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and passion for code quality improvement.
