Role Overview

As Engineer, Procure To Pay (PTP) in our Bangalore Innovation Centre, you'll spearhead PTP functions for the Pharma business segment. This full-time role demands expertise in SAP configurations, supplier EDI reporting (EDI852/EDI867), and cross-functional leadership. You'll ensure robust IT solutions that optimize supply chain efficiency in healthcare, adhering to enterprise standards like Solution Manager, Charm Management, and JIRA.

Key Responsibilities

Core PTP Management

Own accountability for Procure to Pay processes in Pharma, including EDI852/EDI867 supplier reporting and non-EDI alternatives. Comply with and enforce tools like Solution Manager, Charm, and JIRA for seamless operations.

Leadership & Problem-Solving

Provide direction during crises, identify gaps between requirements and solutions, and deliver estimates. Communicate effectively with IT partners and stakeholders, collaborating across onsite/offshore teams for software delivery.

Monitoring & Automation

Monitor critical PTP processes with alerts, automate recurring incidents, and support prioritization meetings for enhancements/defects. Offer functional expertise through presentations and guidance.

Compliance & Enterprise Perspective

Maintain IT Controls, SOX compliance, and audit readiness on the SAP Pharma Platform. Convert specs into test scenarios/scripts, demonstrating enterprise-wide decision-making impact.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel, candidates need a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years in SAP environments. Key expertise includes:

• Functional proficiency in PTP and Supplier EDI (EDI852/EDI867).
• Strong SAP MM, LE, SD configuration for Purchasing, Master Data, Pricing, Inventory, Accounts Payable, and Outbound Deliveries.
• Proven track record in large-scale SAP implementations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Experience in Application Development & Maintenance, partnering with business leaders for assessments and enhancements, is essential.
