Role Overview

As an Engineer, SAP-MDG Functional, you will be at the forefront of implementing and enhancing SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions for Cardinal Health's complex enterprise environment. This full-time role in IND07, India, demands 8-12 years of hands-on experience in SAP MDG across Customer, Vendor, and Material master data domains. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business processes with technical implementations, ensuring seamless integration with SAP ECC and S/4HANA systems. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day impact will include:

• Working extensively with Customer/Supplier/Product/BP data models, creating custom models, and defining entity relations.
• Gathering business requirements and designing SAP MDG processes, including data modeling, UI configuration, and replication setups.
• Leading customer workshops and demonstrations to finalize solution designs and configurations.
• Configuring MDG workflows using BRF+, FPM, enhancements, IDOCs, and proxies for master data like business partners and material masters.
• Integrating MDG with core SAP systems and third-party interfaces, managing data conversion via DIF/DEF and DRF.
• Documenting functional specifications, performing regression and UAT testing, and partnering with developers for custom enhancements.

Technical Expertise Required

Expect to leverage expert-level skills in SAP MDG configurations, rule-based workflows, and best practices in MDM principles across business functions.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

• 8-12 years of experience, with proven expertise in SAP MDG implementations for large-scale projects in Customer, Vendor, and Material domains.
• Extensive integration experience with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, third-party interfaces, and data conversion processes.
• Expert SAP functional configuration in Material, Customer, and Supplier master data.
• Strong proficiency in BRF+ for rule-based workflows, user exits, BADIs, data model enhancements, DIF/DEF, and DRF.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience; SAP MDG certifications highly desirable.
