Role Overview

As an Engineering Manager in the Risk Platform group based in Bangalore, India, you'll lead a high-impact team within Falcon Exposure Management. This role involves building and maintaining the Risk platform, offering a single pane of glass for aggregating organizational risks from CrowdStrike's internal providers and third-party integrations. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies like Golang, microservices architecture, and diverse databases in a globally distributed, fault-tolerant, cloud ecosystem. No prior cybersecurity experience is required—we provide mentoring and training. Your leadership will advance exposure management, protecting organizations from sophisticated threats.

Key Technologies and Scale

Expect to architect solutions at cloud scale using AWS, Azure, or GCP, leveraging Big Data tools like Apache Spark, Kafka, Flink, Pinot, and Trino. The platform supports high-velocity risk visibility, management, and prioritization workflows, powering industry-leading cybersecurity solutions.

In this role, you'll drive technical excellence and team success:

• Lead engineering teams in building key collaterals of the Risk platform.
• Architect scalable, fault-tolerant systems for massive data processing.
• Deliver end-to-end products, from design to deployment.
• Collaborate with product management, support, sales engineering, and executives.
• Mentor developers, foster innovation, and ensure engineering best practices in quality, security, and performance.
• Manage remote teams to maintain agility and velocity.

Qualifications & Requirements

We seek proven leaders with a passion for engineering:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years as a people manager.
• Expertise in Golang or similar, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with Big Data technologies: Apache Spark, Kafka, Flink, Pinot, Trino.
• Solid design, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Track record of hands-on leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.

Bonus Points: Cybersecurity exposure, hiring experience, Golang/Kafka/Cassandra/ElasticSearch proficiency, GenAI workloads.
