We are looking for an Engineering Manager, Residential Power Management and Circuit Protection, to join our team in Peachtree Corners GA.

In this role, you will lead a team of engineers developing next-generation residential energy management solutions, including power source management and circuit protection technologies. You will balance technical leadership, people leadership, and customer-facing engineering collaboration in a rapidly evolving market. This position plays a key role in defining how emerging residential energy systems safely and intelligently integrate multiple power sources.

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Driving system-level integration of residential energy technologies such as power source managers, microgrid interconnection devices, energy storage systems, inverter-based resources, and EV-based power sources
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable safety, regulatory, and interconnection standards (e.g., UL, NEC, IEEE) throughout the product lifecycle
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Product Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Software teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions
  • Engaging directly with B2B customers and partners to support technical discovery, clarify integration requirements, and translate customer needs into actionable engineering solutions
  • Providing technical oversight and subject matter expertise to resolve complex system, integration, or performance issues as products and priorities evolve

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 8+ years of experience with the following:
    • Product development of electromechanical and/or power electronics-based systems
    • Residential power management, circuit protection, energy storage, microgrids, or connected home/IoT devices
    • Cross-disciplinary engineering collaboration (mechanical, electrical, and software)
    • Defining and managing technical requirements for complex systems
    • Leading engineering projects or teams in regulated environments
  • Occasional domestic travel may be required
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior people management experience, or demonstrated leadership of complex engineering programs or project teams
  • Experience working with embedded systems, control software, or communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Modbus, or similar)
  • Familiarity with residential energy, utility infrastructure, EV charging, inverter-based systems, or transfer switch–like technologies
  • Background in customer-facing engineering roles, including technical discovery, partner integration, or solution definition
  • Experience in emerging or ambiguous product spaces where requirements are still being defined and refined
