As Engineering Manager - Solutions Engineering, you'll lead a remote team of Python engineers in the Americas, driving innovation in infrastructure-as-code. This role blends people leadership with hands-on technical contributions, influencing Canonical's engineering culture and product direction. reporting to senior leadership, you'll foster high-quality software delivery while growing talented engineers in a collaborative, agile environment focused on Ubuntu's enterprise dominance.
To succeed, you need a passion for people development with a proven track record. Be knowledgeable in agile software development, Python leadership, cloud computing, Linux administration (storage and networking), and software automation. Organizational skills to deliver high-quality software on time are essential, along with a lifelong learner mindset.
