Join MongoDB as an Enterprise Account Executive, Growth in Austin, Texas and drive the expansion of the world's leading Modern Developer Data Platform. This high-impact role focuses on growing existing MongoDB customers by landing new workloads and expanding usage of MongoDB Atlas across their organizations. You'll prospect into CTOs, Engineering leaders, and technical decision-makers while managing the full sales cycle for MongoDB's industry-leading NoSQL database solutions.

Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

  • Strategic Prospecting: Target CTOs, Engineering/IT leaders, and technical end users within existing MongoDB customer base
  • Account Expansion: Grow current customers by landing new workloads through disciplined outbound prospecting
  • Full Sales Cycle Management: Own complete sales process for MongoDB Products & Services including Atlas, Enterprise Advanced, and Atlas Vector Search
  • Territory Planning: Develop and execute strategic territory plans to consistently achieve revenue targets
  • Pipeline Building: Construct robust sales pipelines in Salesforce and Clari leveraging Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Sendoso, and Outreach
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Cultivate executive relationships across customer organizations to drive adoption
  • Partner Ecosystem: Collaborate with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and GSIs (Accenture, KPMG) for co-sell opportunities
  • Database Modernization: Position MongoDB as the migration target for legacy database workloads
  • AI Enablement: Drive adoption of MongoDB for AI/ML workloads and vector search capabilities

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this Enterprise Account Executive, Growth role at MongoDB, you'll need:

  • 5+ years quota-carrying field sales experience with proven success closing new workloads
  • Demonstrated track record expanding existing accounts horizontally across business units
  • Consistent overachievement of sales targets and revenue goals
  • Expertise articulating business value of complex enterprise technology solutions
  • Experience co-selling with major cloud providers and Global Systems Integrators
  • Proficiency with modern sales technology stack (Salesforce, Clari, Sales Navigator, Outreach)
  • Reside in territory (Austin, Texas area) with flexible work model
  • Passion for the database market and familiarity with developer technologies
