Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

  • Proactively identify, qualify, and close sales pipelines to achieve revenue targets in Frankfurt territory.
  • Strategically prospect into CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical end users using MEDDIC methodology.
  • Build strong relationships that create expansion opportunities and net new logos.
  • Partner with Solution Architects and Professional Services for exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Collaborate with enterprise ecosystem partners and channels to maximize deal sizes.
  • Participate in sales enablement programs including Bootcamps, MEDDIC training, and leadership development.
  • Articulate MongoDB's NoSQL advantages for AI, cloud migration, and developer productivity.
  • Execute territory sales strategies focusing on database modernization and growth.
  • Leverage MongoDB Atlas multi-cloud capabilities to win competitive deals.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 3+ years field experience with quota-carrying sales in competitive markets, proven in opening new accounts and expansions.
  • Track record of overachievement consistently hitting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Expertise in articulating business value of enterprise technologies like MongoDB NoSQL databases.
  • Strong skills in building business champions and navigating complex sales cycles.
  • Driven and competitive with fluency in English; must live in Frankfurt territory.
  • Bonus: Sales methodology training (MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger) and familiarity with databases, developers, open source.
