Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

  • Proactively identify, qualify, and close a sales pipeline driving MongoDB adoption in public sector accounts.
  • Strategically prospect into CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, & technical end users using data-driven approaches.
  • Build strong relationships resulting in growth opportunities and expanded MongoDB deployments.
  • Partner with Solution Architects and Professional Services to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners and channels to maximize deal sizes for NoSQL solutions.
  • Participate in sales enablement including comprehensive Sales Bootcamp and MEDDIC training.
  • Execute territory sales strategy for revenue growth and new MongoDB customer wins.
  • Leverage Challenger Sales and SPIN methodologies to articulate MongoDB's business value.
  • Drive complex sales cycles in competitive markets with quota overachievement.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 10+ years field experience focused on Public Sector accounts with proven quota-carrying success.
  • Demonstrated ability to open new accounts and manage complex sales processes end-to-end.
  • Proven track record of overachievement and consistently hitting ambitious sales targets.
  • Strong ability to articulate business value of enterprise technologies like MongoDB NoSQL databases.
  • Expertise in building business champions among technical stakeholders.
  • Driven, competitive mindset with relentless desire for success in SaaS sales.
  • Native Italian and fluent English required for Rome-based hybrid role.
