Our Enterprise Customer Success Managers follow a proven methodology to identify unique customer needs, convey Datadog's value in real-time monitoring, APM, and log management, and drive new product attachments. Key Responsibilities at Datadog

  • Act as a strategic partner to public sector customers, orchestrating cross-functional internal teams and engaging executive, technical, and business stakeholders to align on goals and deliver Datadog's value narrative.
  • Proactively build and maintain executive relationships to craft clear, outcome-driven stories linking Datadog's technical capabilities—like infrastructure monitoring and security—to measurable business results.
  • Lead QBRs and strategic reviews as forums to demonstrate ROI, align priorities, and define actionable next-step initiatives for cloud migration and digital transformation.
  • Analyze adoption and usage trends from large datasets to quantify value, spot gaps, and recommend financially grounded opportunities for expansion.
  • Position Datadog as the essential observability platform enabling reliability, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making in complex cloud environments.
  • Own and project manage the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring seamless integration of Datadog's tools for APM, synthetics, and dashboards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Executives (AEs), Solutions Engineers (SEs), Technical Account Managers (TAMs), Product, Support, and Enablement teams for consistent value delivery.
  • Drive product attachment and upsell opportunities by translating customer pain points in DevOps, security, and cloud scalability into Datadog solutions.
  • Advocate for public sector compliance and customization needs internally to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 3+ years in a Customer Success or Account Management role, ideally with public sector or enterprise focus.
  • Experience managing a diverse portfolio of accounts rolling up to large Fortune 1000 corporate accounts across industries.
  • Deep knowledge of working with global brands and ability to navigate complex stakeholder maps.
  • Exceptional communicator with attention to detail, skilled at tailoring messages for CTOs, VPs of Engineering, DevOps professionals, and public sector leaders.
  • B2B tech or SaaS experience, preferably in observability, monitoring, or cloud platforms.
  • Willingness to travel onsite for customer visits and events as required.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
