Description

We are looking for an Accounting and Finance Specialist to join the NSC Turkey Finance team within Eurofins Scientific. This position will be responsible for managing processes in general accounting, fixed assets, payroll, revenue recognition, tax, and treasury, ensuring compliance with local regulations and Eurofins group accounting policies. The role is ideal for candidates with strong analytical thinking, a sense of responsibility, excellent task management skills, and a desire for continuous development.

This role offers a hybrid working model, combining remote and office-based work.

General Accounting
• Record daily accounting entries in accordance with local regulations and Eurofins accounting policies
• Actively contribute to monthly closing and reporting processes
• Manage fixed assets and perform depreciation calculations
• Support the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports
• Monitor bank transactions and cash flow management

Revenue Recognition
• Review customer contracts and apply appropriate revenue recognition methods
• Contribute to revenue recognition processes in line with IFRS

Accounts Payable (AP)
• Process supplier invoices and prepare payments
• Perform supplier reconciliations
• Review employee expense claims and manage payment processes

Tax and Compliance Processes
• Support the preparation of tax declarations (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, corporate tax)
• Play an active role in audit processes and prepare necessary documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related fields
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting and finance processes, with a focus on general accounting and revenue recognition
• Knowledge of Turkish Tax Legislation and basic IFRS
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Experience with Mikro accounting software is a plus
• Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
