Description

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Courier Driver to join our Food team in Dandenong South, Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily collection and delivery of samples from various locations, including city commute areas and regional countryside locations, ensuring timely and safe transportation to our laboratory.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and transport samples daily from multiple sites across metropolitan areas and regional locations to our laboratory in Dandenong South.

• Ensure proper handling, packaging, and documentation of all samples to maintain quality and compliance.

• Perform basic administrative tasks such as sample registration, data entry via LIMS, and labelling when required.

• Plan and manage efficient driving routes to meet scheduled collection and delivery times.

• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and ensure the courier vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and compliant with safety standards.

• Follow all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines while handling and transporting samples.

• Assist with occasional administrative and delivery-related tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent TAFE qualification 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
• Physical ability to lift and carry packages up to 20 Kg
• Previous experience in courier driving or sample pickup preferred
• Experience in reception or administrative roles is a plus
• Familiarity with laboratory environments beneficial but not required
