Description

• Meticulous handling of clinical specimens.
• Perform specimen registration accurately and timely into the Laboratory Information System.
• Understand clinical and test terminologies.
• Adhere to procedures in specimen management, including centrifugation, storage, retrieval and disposal.
• Possess good time-management skills.
• May be rotated to other lab locations or shifts, as necessary.
• Attend to incoming calls and general enquiries from clients in a professional manner.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by extending responsive and meticulous support.
• Attend to clients queries and problems diligently and timely.
• Ensures the discharge of duties and responsibilities with diligence.
• Observes PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act) guidelines and chain of custody of specimens.

Qualifications

• GCE "N" / "O" Level, NiTEC in Biomedical Science
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year experience.
• Able to work independently as well as a team.
• Good laboratory, organisational and administrative skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Service and customer oriented.
• Relevant work experience in a hospital laboratory is an added advantage.
