In a nutshell

The Database Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of database systems to ensure high availability and security. This role involves managing data integrity, optimizing queries, and supporting development teams with database-related tasks.

Database Management

• Install, configure, and upgrade database servers (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.).
• Create and manage database objects (tables, indexes, views, stored procedures).
• Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies.
• Backup & Recovery

• Develop and maintain backup strategies.
• Perform disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Ensure data integrity and availability.
• Security & Compliance

• Implement database security policies (roles, permissions, encryption).
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
• Performance Optimization

• Analyze query performance and optimize SQL statements.
• Manage indexing strategies and partitioning.

Qualifications

Are you our kind of extraordinary?

• To be successful in this role, you should have at least 1-2 years of experience as a SQL Database Administrator.
• A deep understanding of SQL Server architecture, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions is essential.
• Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is beneficial.
• Good commends of English is required for this role.
