Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

As Events Marketing Manager, you'll own the full event lifecycle for EMEA programs:

  • End-to-end event coordination: From messaging and materials to signage, branding, and production.
  • Vendor and contract management: Negotiate deals and maintain strong relations for optimal ROI.
  • Venue and logistics mastery: Site selection, registration via Cvent, attendee management, and F&B planning.
  • Content and agenda leadership: Speaker support, copywriting, and audience-centric event narratives.
  • On-site excellence: Staffing, production oversight, and real-time problem-solving.
  • Cross-functional alignment: Partner with global teams for lead flow, sponsorship sales, and campaign creation.
  • Budget and ROI optimization: Track expenses, measure registrations, pipeline impact, and NPS.

Qualifications & Requirements

The ideal candidate is a strategic operator with:

  • 5+ years in event marketing/management or field marketing.
  • Proven track record developing business-aligned events.
  • Strong project management, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Global team collaboration experience in fast-paced settings.
  • Excellent communication, copywriting, and multi-project prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, Zoom, Cvent (bonus: Salesforce, Jira, Tableau).
  • ~35% travel willingness and EMEA base (Dublin preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree.
