Role Overview

The Executive Manager - Internal Control role in PepsiCo's Hyderabad GCC Hub is pivotal in supporting the seamless transition to the GCC model while upholding the highest standards of financial compliance and risk management. Key Responsibilities

As Executive Manager - Internal Control, your core duties include managing the end-to-end control agenda for GCC transitions and ongoing operations. Key responsibilities encompass:

• Identifying and monitoring controls transitioning to GCC hubs, clarifying roles and responsibilities during handovers.
• Partnering with functional leads to designate control owners and develop post-migration strategies.
• Serving as the primary point of contact (POC) for control issues in the ICC hub, designing controls for automation projects.
• Driving GCS 4.0 rollout through onboarding, training Process Owners (POs) and Control Owners (COs), and facilitating risk assessments.
• Coordinating quarterly key control testing, policy reviews (including Schedule of Authority and SAP segregation of duties), and audit remediation.
• Optimizing processes by benchmarking GCC best practices and recommending standardization.
• Leading team performance via mentoring, coaching, and development plans.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

• Chartered Accountancy (CA) or a Bachelor’s/International Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in internal controls, with at least 50% focused on COSO/SOX implementation, testing, process improvement, and audits. Big-4 experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in IT systems, particularly ERP like SAP, planning tools, and integrated solutions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and drive change across organizational levels.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end business processes, data flows, and fluency in English.
