Role Overview

The Expeditor II - 1st Shift position at Cardinal Health's El Paso-Don Haskins distribution center is an entry-to-mid-level warehouse role focused on efficient order fulfillment and materials handling. Reporting to warehouse supervision, you'll contribute to the seamless flow of pharmaceutical and medical products, ensuring accuracy, safety, and timeliness. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day duties will keep the warehouse running smoothly:

• Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including accurate product picking, quality control inspections, packing, computer data entry, and shipment preparation.
• Participate in cross-training across warehouse functions such as order picking, outbound dock operations, renal fluid and IV fluid packing, and automated storage/retrieval systems.
• Maintain housekeeping standards, conduct inventory controls, and uphold a clean, safe workspace while wearing required PPE like steel-toed safety shoes and material handling harnesses.
• Train and certify on material handling equipment, including order pickers (cherry pickers), reach trucks, pallet jacks, pacers/counterbalances, and walkie riders.
• Apply skills to routine tasks, resolve minor issues, adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and escalate complex problems to supervisors.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 1-2 years of warehouse, distribution, or materials handling experience preferred.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Willingness to learn and certify on powered industrial trucks and safety protocols.
• Ability to work under moderate supervision, follow quality guidelines, and maintain certifications.
• Physical ability to perform lifting, standing, and repetitive tasks in a warehouse setting.
