Description

We are looking for a Compiler / Classifier to join our growing Melbourne/Adelaide Brokerage team. As a Customs Classifier, you are responsible to prepare customs clearance declarations on behalf of some of the most reputable companies both locally and globally for submission to Customs in compliance with national regulatory provisions and in adherence to the company's policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills 
  • Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Keen eye for details
  • Diploma of Customs Broking (in progress or completed) would be preferable but not essential
  • Full working rights in Australia

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive documents & prepare customs entries
  • Monitor customs clearances and communicate with Customers
  • Understand the elements of the Import & export customs SOP
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into operating systems
