Description

Assist the Trade Document Compliance Team with data management and documentation for international clients.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collect, review, and accurately input relevant information into company systems;
  • Support in the creation of Trade Documents, including but not limited to:
    • Commercial Documentation,
    • Certificates of Origin,
    • EUR 1/EURMED,
    • Veterinary Documentation,
    • Health Certificates,
    • A.TR Documents,
    • CITES Permits
  • Engage with customers on requests to ensure an accurate and timely delivery;
  • Maintain recordkeeping for functional areas of responsibility;
  • Escalate issues and support to resolve complex problems;
  • Collaboration and solid communication with internal and external parties;
  • Meet company standard of 52 hours of training per year;
  • Be dedicated to the success of Tradewin using ethical business practices at all times;

Qualifications

Our team is looking for a person with the following qualifications:

  • Great attitude and excellent communication skills;
  • Ability to speak and understand English and Dutch, both written and verbal;
  • Two years or more direct experience in logistics or international trade compliance;
  • ability to develop, implement and maintain standards and identify opportunities for continuous improvement;
  • Proficiency in computer applications;
    • Microsoft 365 applications,
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail;
  • experience interacting with external and internal customers to gather information and coordinate projects to anticipate and satisfy the customer’s needs;
  • Ability to work timely and problem solve, enabling teams and individuals to meet and exceed customer’s deadlines;

Secondary qualifications

  • Customs Broker Licence/certificate from a national authority or local educator preferred but not required;
  • This is an onsite position within our Amsterdam office.
