Role Overview

The External Communications & PR – Communications Associate Manager role at PepsiCo in New Cairo, Egypt, is a pivotal position for shaping our corporate image and brand presence. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will involve high-impact activities such as:

  • Developing and executing corporate communications strategies encompassing SBP, AOP, external/executive comms, Brand PR, and CSR plans.
  • Crafting executive communication action plans to boost GM visibility on PWP with stakeholders.
  • Managing media relations for optimal corporate positioning and supporting external engagements.
  • Overseeing PR and external events, including launches and stakeholder meets.
  • Driving social impact communications, managing agencies, NGOs, and PepsiCo Foundation partnerships.
  • Leading brand PR end-to-end: media relations, press releases, influencers, crisis management, and measurement.
  • Overseeing social media strategy, copywriting for PR materials, and issues/crisis communications.
  • Measuring, evaluating, and reporting on all activities while supporting BU projects.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, you need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 7-9 years of experience in a similar role within the private sector or government.
  • Exceptional communications, PR, and copywriting skills to create compelling, strategy-aligned content.
  • Proven ability in media management, event execution, crisis response, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience with brand PR, social media, and CSR communications is highly desirable.
