The opportunity
Join Financial Services (FSI) and you will work with multi-disciplinary teams from around the world to deliver a global market perspective.
Aligned to key industry groups including asset management, banking and capital markets, insurance and private equity, we provide integrated advisory, assurance, tax, and transaction services to our clients.
You’ll work as part of high-performing team on a broad range of clients and assignments that will stretch and challenge you. You’ll be encouraged and expected to take accountability and make an impact.
Your key responsibilities
- Participate in performing audit procedures, especially focusing on complex and/or specialized issues
- Collaborate to plan objectives and an audit strategy that complies with professional standards and appropriately addresses risk
- Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery
Skills and attributes for success
- Knowledge of English at intermediate level or above
- Confidence in PC use (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Previous experience in audit/accounting or in a financial institution (minimum 1-2 years)
- Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support
- Knowledge of local GAAP (Romanian accounting) and basic knowledge of IFRS
- Understanding of risk-based auditing and risk and control strategies
- Compliance with and understanding of regulatory requirements
- Involvement in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties
