The Opportunity 

 

EY-Parthenon’s Strategy team is looking for ambitious, analytical professionals to join our expanding Strategy team across multiple sectors (Smart City, Digital, Energy & Industrials, Sustainability, CDD) in MENA. In today’s competitive business landscape, creativity is essential for sustained success. As part of EY-Parthenon Strategy, you will have the opportunity to lead impactful projects that drive significant results in the region.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

Drive the delivery of high-impact strategy engagements by aligning project objectives with senior leadership, translating client needs into actionable solutions, and executing projects to EY-Parthenon standards—while managing diverse initiatives such as growth, market entry, digital transformation, and due diligence. Build strong internal and external relationships, mentor junior team members, and ensure quality outcomes through proactive risk management and direct engagement with C-suite stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a strong blend of intellectual curiosity, analytical thinking, commercial awareness, and professional maturity. Key attributes include the ability to develop business strategies through tools like market analysis, customer research, macroeconomic forecasting, and portfolio optimization; excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members; the capacity to collect, analyze, and translate large volumes of qualitative and quantitative data into actionable plans and goals; and a collaborative mindset to motivate and counsel junior team members from diverse backgrounds.

 

To qualify for the role, you must: 

 

• Have a bachelor's degree from a top-ranking school with outstanding academic performance.
• Have a minimum of 3+ years of work experience, ideally within strategy consulting, investments, private equity, market research, or a quantitative type of research function.
• Experience in working on significant strategy projects, including commercial due diligence, digital transformation, growth strategy, and market strategy.
• The ability to make detailed assessments of industries, products, markets, competitors, and customers to identify risks and opportunities.
• Proficiency in English, with effective communication skills in a professional environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel within the MENA region as necessary (approximately 25-50% of the time).

 

Ideally, you’ll also:

 

• Have an MBA or Master’s degree from a top-tier business school.
• Have prior experience with a focus on client advisory or strategic planning within a professional services environment.
• Have excellent problem-solving, project management, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Have the ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Have full fluency in Arabic, both written and spoken.
