Job Description
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance with a minimum GPA of 3.20 from an accredited college/university.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; having 1 year of experience in a public accounting firm is a plus.
- Accounting knowledge, with focus on PSAK and IFRS is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Indonesian.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn new capabilities.
- Good analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and maintain quality consistently.
What is your key responsibilites?
As a FAAS Associate you will be an integral part of the team, committed to supporting FAAS executives in building and maintaining relationships with clients and other service lines within EY. You will have the opportunity to plan and execute projects, contributing to the successful delivery of services to our clients.
We are seeking an Associate to join our team in executing assignments related to:

Adoption of new accounting standards to drive compliance to reporting requirements

Advising on complex accounting issues

Engaging in merger and acquisition activities

Assisting with initial public offerings

Enhancing the financial reporting process

Improving financial processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Support project teams to meet deliverables and deadlines.

Assist in providing technical solutioning to clients through understanding of the accounting standards requirements and practical applications, addressing reporting issues and broader impacts of accounting standards, and regulatory, where applicable.

Assist in preparing financial statements including carve-out financial statements, pro-forma financial statements, etc.

Analyze, understand, optimize end-to-end financial closing processes.

Assist in researching and gathering relevant information and knowledge from our internal resources to provide value-adding recommendations.

Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and regulatory obligations, providing tailored solutions and guidance accordingly.

Demonstrate professionalism while working in the client environment.

Maintain strong networks, both internally and externally, and work with other service lines to provide an integrated service delivery.
