SAP IBP Senior Consultant

 

Location: Katowice - 2 days office/3 days remote

Your key responsibilities

 

• Work with the extended multifunctional teams and/or clients to design and deliver actionable supply chain transformation improving KPI’s such as service, cost and cash
• Design planning solutions, create operating models, leading workshops & fit gap assesments
• Translate business requirements into practical technical functionalities provided in SAP IBP
• Model master data and configure system in line with business requirements defined in user stories
• Support for project related testing activities (incl. Sprint and UAT Testing)
• Validate various planning or transactional data to build optimization models, analytical reports and presentations
• Provide system solutions and process adjustments to unstructured problems
• Continuous upskilling to upgrade planning & SAP IBP capabilities

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

• SAP IBP operational & implementation hands on experiences (planning, data modelling, configuration, testing)
• Work with the extended teams and/or clients to design and deliver actionable supply chain transformation
• Translate business requirements into practical technical functionalities provided by SAP IBP
• Ability to deliver comprehensive data assesments which can be used for optimization of planning processes
• Understanding of Demand Planning, Master Planning, Supply Network Planning, Inventory Management and Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling
• Understanding of Integrated Business Planning and it’s connection to S&OP/ S&OE planning cycles
• Design planning solutions, create operating models, leading workshops & fit gap assesments (as is vs to be)
• Ability to work self independently & proactively looking for best in class up & running solutions boosting client satisfaction  
• Understanding and supply chain process expertise for one or more of the following industries: FMCG, Pharma, Automotive, etc.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

• 2 years hands on experience for SAP IBP (Sales and Operations, Response and Supply, DDMRP, Inventory or IBP Platform modules) and transformation/implementation projects
• Knowledge of Fluent English
• Understanding of IBP, S&OP, S&OE processes and planning/scheduling experience
• Ability to deliver comprehensive data assessments which can be used for optimization of planning processes
• Strong willingness and ability upskill SAP IBP capabilities
• Ability to upskill yourself with alternative planning technologies like OMP or Kinaxis
• Ability to work at client location based on business/project need

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or Economics or Engineering
• SAP IBP Certification
• You are familiar with Job Scheduling or Data Integration for SAP IBP
• Knowledge of any other planning software such as OMP or Kinaxis
• Other language skills at B2 level at least will be additional asset
