The opportunity

 

EY GDS Poland is offering an exciting opportunity within our Finance Consulting Practice. We are seeking a Senior Finance Consultant with expertise in CCH Tagetik deployment. In this role, you will support our clients in creating and maintaining high-quality financial reporting, including the deployment and optimization of CCH Tagetik solutions. You will work on client projects within various environments, improving business processes and functions through advanced data analysis. Your responsibilities will also include developing and implementing new IT-based solutions in the area of data analytics and financial management systems. You will work closely with clients to assess their needs, execute plans, and provide ongoing support to ensure successful outcomes.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

• Finance and Reporting: Support clients with services in accounting and transactions, assist with challenges in consolidation and reporting, and lead CCH Tagetik deployment projects.
• Accounting Standards: Assess the impact of different standards (HGB, IFRS, US GAAP) on complex accounting issues, with a focus on leveraging CCH Tagetik's capabilities to meet these standards.
• Digitalization of financial processes: Work in teams that combine accounting expertise with IT and process competence deploying and optimizing CCH Tagetik for financial management.

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

• Proficiency in CCH Tagetik application including setup, configuration, and customization.
• Strong understanding with finance data modeling within Tagetik, financial reports and statements and knowledge of finance consolidation.
• Experience with CCH Tagetik data integration tools and ETL processes, including data migration for prior periods, postings, and understanding of financial statements.
• Knowledge of SQL and databases.
• Familiarity with other business intelligence (BI) and Corporate Performance Management (CPM) tools.
• Ability to provide accounting advice and guidance on various process transition-related topics.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

• Knowledge of the following solutions: reporting (PowerBI), ERP (SAP, Dynamics), platforms for finance (Anaplan, OneStream).
• Translate business requirements to technical language and model.
• Good experience in Chart of accounts (CoA) design.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Managing/supervising teams of people on project work.
• Open to travel (Domestic & International).
• Master degree in Finance and Accounting or any other related
• 5+ years of total consulting experience
• 2+ years’ experience in Business Process Transition and Business Finance Transformation
• Relevant certifications in CCH Tagetik are highly beneficial.
