The opportunity

 

As a Transfer Pricing Manager, you will be a part of our International Tax and Transaction Services group.   We offer depth of experience through a worldwide network of dedicated transfer pricing professionals which translates to excellent opportunities for learning and career advancement. We will also provide immigration support services for international candidates. 

 

Your key responsibilities

As a Manager in our Transfer Pricing practice, you will be part of a team that works with clients to develop tax planning, defend transfer pricing in government audits, facilitate negotiations between tax authorities, and prepare supporting documentation. You will also participate in and supervise various challenging transfer pricing engagements and to contribute to the delivery of quality transfer pricing services for our diverse clients.

 

Core aspects of the role include

  • Demonstrating an understanding of complex transfer pricing concepts and effectively applying economic and financial knowledge to client situations.
  • Developing and delivering quality transfer pricing and economic ideas with timely and responsive services and work products.
  • Identifying opportunities for transfer pricing and or other specialized services.
  • Preparing documentation, participating in advanced pricing agreements (APAs), defending transfer pricing in government audits, leading in the valuation of
  • intangible assets, and developing quality, practical planning services.
  • Managing the work of client service team members.
  • Participating in and contributing to attaining team goals.
  • Thoroughly and accurately analyze information.
  • Preparing practical, quality approaches to clients’ economic situations and arriving at logical conclusions.
  • Leading development of recommendations and implementation plans. 

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A business, economics or related degree, complemented by an accounting designation or post-graduate law degree.
  • 4 or more years of relevant experience, preferably gained in professional services.
  • Excellent analytical skills and advanced proficiency with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • The ability to thrive within a fast-paced, professional services environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with demonstrated ability to team with professionals at all levels.

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $95,000 to $110,000 . Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
