EY Global Delivery Services Argentina is seeking experienced tax professionals to join our Financial Services Office (FSO) team.

EY is the only professional services firm with a business unit dedicated exclusively to the financial services industry. Our FSO teams have been at the forefront of every major event that has reshaped and redefined this sector.

The Tax area provides tax compliance and technical advisory services to global clients in the financial sector, including investment funds and private equity funds. From Buenos Aires, we work closely with international teams, primarily based in India and the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Technical Competencies

• Strong knowledge of U.S. investment partnership taxation (investment funds and private equity funds).
• Comprehensive review and preparation of U.S. partnership tax compliance deliverables, including:
• Federal and state tax returns (Form 1065 and related schedules).
• Schedule K-1, K-2, and K-3 reporting.
• SALT (State and Local Tax) filings.
• Withholding forms and international reporting requirements.
• Other compliance tasks related to investment funds and similar entities.

Non-Tax Technical Competencies

• Lead, mentor, and supervise Analysts and Advanced Analysts, promoting accountability and independence.
• Provide technical and procedural guidance to the team on tax and administrative matters.
• Manage time and priorities effectively to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and promote the use of EY tools, methodologies, and technology.
• Encourage critical thinking and open communication within the team.
• Contribute to the professional development of others through constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, collaborative, and results-oriented attitude.

Requirements

• Proactive professional with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Advanced student or graduate in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
• Fluent English (daily communication required).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in U.S. tax compliance.
• Previous experience in team leadership or project management (PMO).
• Flexibility to work overtime, on holidays, and weekends when required.
• Full-time position based in Buenos Aires (CABA).
