Role Overview

The Facilities Maintenance Custodian position on 2nd shift (Monday-Friday, 3:00PM-11:00PM) is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant manufacturing environment at our Norfolk, NE site. This entry-level role within Production Set-up and Maintenance ensures operational efficiency by handling custodial duties, waste management, and adherence to rigorous health, safety, and quality protocols. Key Responsibilities

  • Consolidate, move, and dump trash into designated containers; operate the compactor system and maintain recyclable systems.
  • Operate a variety of tools including mops, brooms, cleaning supplies, carts, ladders, power vacuums, and power-driven cleaning equipment (company-provided certification required).
  • Stock and replenish cleaning supplies to ensure continuous availability.
  • Comply with federal regulations, EH&S procedures, ISO 13485, GMP, OSHA, and corporate standards; participate in root cause analysis, inspections, and safety meetings.
  • Report safety incidents, hazards, and unsafe conditions; work overtime as required and perform other duties as assigned.

  • High School diploma, GED, equivalent, or relevant work experience preferred.
