The Facility Licensing Advisor position at Cardinal Health in Dublin, OH, is a hybrid role ideal for a regulatory expert passionate about healthcare compliance. As a Center of Excellence (COE) technical expert, you'll independently manage facility licensing, 3PL licenses, NABP accreditation, and SAP Board of Pharmacy tables. This role demands deep knowledge of FDA (21 CFR) and state regulations for drug distribution, dispensing, and operations. With an anticipated salary range of $80,500 - $97,500, this opportunity offers stability, impact, and professional growth in a leading healthcare organization.
In this critical role, you'll lead state licensure regulatory programs, policies, and procedures. Key duties include serving as the SME for Regulatory State Licensure, handling Designated Representative change management for high-risk submissions, analyzing new state requirements and regulatory impacts, and bi-annually reviewing the 50-state requirements spreadsheet. You'll ensure all facilities maintain appropriate licenses through overall entity management and tracker oversight. Additional responsibilities encompass corporate NABP renewals, facility inspection support, timely HSL assignment submissions, identifying process issues with recommendations, keeping teammates updated on changes, and driving continuous risk management improvements while tracking Board of Pharmacy (BOP) matters.
Work independently on complex decisions, share risk management with QRA leadership, and champion change initiatives considering cultural diversity. Proactively maintain broad knowledge of trends, apply expertise to meet stakeholder needs, and foster innovation to solve problems and create opportunities.
Cardinal Health seeks candidates with a Bachelor's degree preferred and 4-6 years of experience in regulatory compliance. Essential qualifications include strong knowledge of FDA regulations (21 CFR) for prescription drugs and medical devices, in-depth understanding of state regulations for purchasing, selling, distributing, and dispensing drugs and devices (pharmacy, home medical equipment). Familiarity with distribution operations in medical and pharmaceutical sectors is preferred. Required skills encompass excellent verbal, written, computer, SAP, interpersonal abilities, and influencing skills to navigate complex regulatory landscapes effectively.
