Key Responsibilities at Rivian

As a Field Service Parts Advisor III, your role is action-packed and critical to service efficiency:

• Demonstrate and execute the warranty return process with precision, ensuring compliance and speed.
• Master shipping and packaging protocols for final parts shipments.
• Understand and explain channel planning to optimize inventory flow.
• Handle indirect purchasing through Coupa and resolve procurement discrepancies.
• Track and explain KPIs and metrics to drive performance improvements.
• Identify, order, and source correct parts, including assemblies and subassemblies, for repairs.
• Physically and systematically receive, BIN, and allocate parts, spotting damages, shortages, or errors.
• Operate a forklift for safe parts transport and organization.
• Conduct daily counts and pre-pull parts for upcoming appointments.
• Communicate effectively with technicians via huddles and calls to prioritize customer needs.
• Apply 5S methodology (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) for workspace excellence.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 2-3 years in customer-facing service, ideally automotive or tech-related.

• Skills: Exceptional communication, organization, multitasking, and problem-solving with patience and empathy.
• Physical Demands: Lift up to 85 lbs, stand/walk 8+ hours, bend, kneel, and use tools/forklift safely.
• Schedule: Full-time 40 hours/week, night shift including weekends, holidays, evenings, overnights.
• Technical: Navigate SharePoint, Coupa, proprietary Rivian systems, Warranty Manual.
