Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

As a Field Service Technician, your primary accountabilities include:

  • Completing all refrigerant documentation in compliance with EPA regulations.
  • Installing new equipment by drilling holes, routing lines, connecting water/gas supplies, and building racks for syrup systems.
  • Diagnosing issues across plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and carpentry disciplines to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Educating customers on basic repair and upkeep procedures while collecting accurate equipment and customer data via e-pad.
  • Maintaining parts inventory on the service truck, transporting items like compressors, and following all safety and driving protocols.

Daily Workflow

Each day starts with loading your truck, driving to customer sites, evaluating situations, and executing repairs. You'll unload/reload products, replace parts, and ensure equipment operates at peak performance, fostering positive relationships with store managers and contacts.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet these basic qualifications:

  • Be 18 years or older (21+ if CDL is required).
  • Possess a valid U.S. CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status if applicable, plus pass DOT Physical and Road-test.
