Key Responsibilities at Rivian

As a Rivian Field Service Technician, you'll deliver top-tier support for our innovative EVs. Here's what you'll do daily:

• Perform or assist with vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections at service centers, customer homes, businesses, or field locations.
• Identify and explain the Rivian product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories to customers and team members.
• Utilize technical resources to follow Rivian repair procedures efficiently without compromising quality or safety.
• Conduct road tests to ensure repairs meet high standards.
• Manage parts operations: ordering, receiving, shipping, and inventory control.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensing & Driving: Valid driver’s license, clean record (no suspensions/revocations in 3-5 years); ability to drive non-commercial truck/trailer preferred. Must be 21+ years old.
• Technical Skills: Proficient with hand/power tools; foundational low-voltage electricity, DVOM, schematics. High-voltage safety, PPE, component knowledge required. Advanced: CAN/LIN networks, complex diagnostics, wiring repairs.
• Physical & Availability: Lift 50 lbs., perform tasks like standing, bending, kneeling; fluent English for docs/schematics. Available for nights, early mornings, weekends, holidays.
• Soft Skills: Strong organization, attention to detail, eagerness to learn; proficient in Windows/Mac; parts/billing/work order systems experience preferred.
