Role Overview

The Finance Analyst II position at Cardinal Health in Rayong, Thailand, is a critical role for professionals passionate about financial accuracy in manufacturing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust inventory controls, GAAP compliance, and insightful FP&A reporting. This full-time role involves weekly, monthly, and yearly analyses of inventory movements, manufacturing variances, and balance sheet reconciliations. Key Responsibilities

Your impact will span multiple areas:

  • Conduct monthly checks on inventory and internal controls, covering GAAP, BOI, and tax compliance.
  • Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) on PRMS, manage physical inventory counts, and monitor movements.
  • Analyze manufacturing variances such as Material Usage Variance (MUV) and labor efficiency to support management decisions.
  • Lead forecasting, annual budgeting, and FP&A development initiatives across teams.
  • Summarize balance sheet reconciliations and assist with internal/external audits and corporate income tax computations.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental health and safety rules, reporting accidents and near-misses promptly.
  • Handle ad-hoc duties to support operational excellence.

Inventory Management Expertise

Work closely with Manufacturing Operations to manage new products, changes, and compliance with policies, including journal entries for month-end GL closing.

FP&A Leadership

Drive performance through variance analysis and cross-functional planning, identifying risks and opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, you need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • At least 5 years in Accounting/Finance within a manufacturing environment, liaising with cross-functional site teams.
  • Knowledge of MRP systems (PRMS/SAP) is advantageous.
  • Solid GAAP knowledge and familiarity with Thai tax laws and BOI.
  • Native Thai and professional English (verbal/written).
  • Proficiency in MS Office; detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, meet deadlines, and build interdepartmental relationships.
