The Finance Director for Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, based in Almaty, Kazakhstan, is a senior leadership position reporting to regional finance executives. This role demands a strategic financial leader to oversee profit and loss (P&L) reporting, revenue management, and business partnering across two dynamic markets. You'll ensure accurate financial closings, provide actionable insights to commercial teams, standardize processes, and lead a team of analysts. Ideal for seasoned finance professionals with international experience, this position offers exposure to PepsiCo's cutting-edge financial systems and high-impact projects in the competitive food and beverage industry.
Lead monthly, annual, and hard-close processes for Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, focusing on top-line P&L. Conduct root-cause analysis of forecast variances weekly, monthly, and annually. Prepare monthly Net Revenue Realization (NRR) reports by category, comparing actuals to initial and annual forecasts, ensuring timely and accurate data submission.
Oversee P&L preparation and analysis by channels and customers. Deliver strategic financial insights to commercial teams and collaborate with NRM on channel strategies. Ensure accuracy in discounts and allowances (D&A) calculations, control trade promotions, and evaluate their post-event effectiveness.
Act as the primary financial business partner for commercial teams and key contact for distributor finance teams. Support FPA and NRM with client and channel financials. Train sales teams on financial literacy through 'Finance for Non-Finance' programs and provide timely analytics to drive company goals.
Standardize closing models and Customer Development Agreements (CDA). Manage CDA effectiveness, negotiations, and templates. Reconcile EST calculations, distributor bonuses, and profit shares. Lead financial aspects of RTM/GTM projects and provide analytics for business development.
Mentor and develop junior sales finance analysts, fostering a high-performance culture.
To excel in this role, candidates need a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting. Require 3-5 years as Finance Director or Deputy CFO, preferably in international or large regional companies. Deep expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, management accounting, and taxation is essential. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems like 1C, SAP, or Oracle is mandatory. Practical experience with regulatory authorities in Kyrgyzstan and/or Uzbekistan, strong analytical skills for handling large datasets, team management experience, and fluency in Russian and English are required. High responsibility, attention to detail, and results-orientation complete the profile.
