Position Summary

Williams is seeking talented Financial Analysts at Level II and III to join our newly created Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role offers office or field-based flexibility and is perfect for mid-level professionals passionate about financial forecasting, cost discipline, and data-driven decision-making in the energy sector. As a Financial Analyst II or III, you will lead critical processes in financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting. You'll collaborate across functions to support forecast drivers, leverage automation and AI for innovation, and simplify workflows. Financial Analyst III Focus

Level III candidates will take a leadership role, specializing in advanced financial analysis, variance explanations, and strategic planning coordination.

Financial Analyst II Focus

Level II roles emphasize foundational forecasting, data validation, and relationship-building, with opportunities for growth into senior responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare comprehensive reports, forecasts, presentations, and ad-hoc analyses to support business decisions.
  • Coordinate forecast components, perform detailed financial analysis, and document validations.
  • Communicate detailed assumptions, explain variances, and analyze actual results against forecasts.
  • Lead or support annual strategic and vision planning, including operating and capital plan forecasting.
  • Nurture strong relationships with company partners and senior leadership through clear financial reporting.
  • Identify, research, and recommend process improvements, automation initiatives, and innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate across teams to drive cost discipline, enable data-driven decisions, and accelerate innovation using AI tools.
  • Other duties as assigned, with a focus on safety, continuous improvement, and organizational excellence.

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Financial Analyst II: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field + minimum 2 years related experience in financial analysis and forecasting.
  • Financial Analyst III: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field + minimum 4 years related experience in financial analysis.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA preferred for II), CPA certification.

Skills and Other Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and advanced PC skills.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Prior experience collaborating with and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Level II Preferred: Knowledge of Hyperion tools (Essbase, Smartview), midstream gas gathering/processing, or regulated interstate pipeline transportation.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, creativity, good judgment, and commitment to safety as the utmost priority.
