Role Overview

As a Consultant, Financial Risk Software, you will play a crucial role in implementing and supporting our FIS Balance Sheet Manager (BSM) solution for major banking, insurance, and finance clients. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet their needs and help them navigate the complex world of financial risk management. This role is ideally based in Sydney.

A Day in the Life

  • Conducting client requirements gathering workshops to understand their specific needs and challenges.
  • Developing statements of work (SoWs) and project plans to outline the scope and timeline of implementation projects.
  • Performing data mapping and requirements workshops to ensure accurate data integration between systems.
  • Configuring the FIS BSM solution according to client requirements, including setting up modules for Asset and Liability Management (ALM), Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), Liquidity Risk Management (LRM), Market Risk, and ECL/IFRS9.
  • Building custom reports to provide clients with valuable insights into their financial risk profile.
  • Guiding and assisting clients in performing data validation, reconciliation testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Delivering training and presentations to clients on how to effectively use the FIS BSM solution.
  • Creating bespoke custom documentation to suit the client’s specific needs.
  • Assisting pre-sales teams in preparing and delivering product presentations and demos to prospective clients.
  • Managing multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
