Role Overview

The Global Head of Regulated Entities Compliance at FIS is a critical executive leadership role responsible for overseeing the regulatory compliance of all FIS regulated entities and contractually obligated business units worldwide. This role serves as the second line of defense, ensuring the development and maintenance of best-in-class regulatory compliance programs across the organization's global footprint. Reporting directly to the FIS Chief Compliance Officer, this position provides expert leadership, compliance advice, and guidance to Compliance Officers (COs) and Money Laundering Reporting Officers (MLROs), while working closely with the Global Head of Financial Crime Compliance.

A Day in the Life

As the Global Head of Regulated Entities Compliance, your day-to-day activities will be diverse and challenging, encompassing strategic oversight, team management, and regulatory engagement. You'll start by reviewing key compliance metrics and reports to identify potential risks and areas for improvement. Responsibilities

  • Manage Compliance Officers (COs)/Money Laundering Reporting Officers (MLROs) for FIS regulated entities and relevant contractually obligated business units.
  • Lead the centralized oversight and management of FIS’ regulated entity Compliance teams.
  • Develop and implement a framework to deliver clarity and consistency in processes, controls, governance, reporting, and oversight for regulated entities and contractually obligated business units.
  • Balance the needs of sovereign regulated entities with adherence to FIS parent Company policies and governance frameworks.
  • Engage with/report to regulators as required, overseeing regulatory inspections/exams, and supporting COs/MLROs in developing effective strategies to mitigate regulatory risk.
  • Foster strong stakeholder relationships across FIS to develop knowledge and awareness of, and support for, regulated entity compliance requirements e.g., outsourcing.
  • Lead for the regulated entities on significant regulatory change programs as required.
