The FIS University Program offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the fintech industry. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) intern, you will be an integral part of our business development team, contributing to pipeline growth and learning valuable sales skills. This internship provides exposure to various prospecting methods, solutions, organizational structures, and sales techniques. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining insights into the FIS Way of selling and the dynamics of the financial technology landscape.
Your day as an SDR intern will be dynamic and engaging. You'll start by leveraging prospecting technologies to identify potential leads, researching their contact information, and understanding their business needs. You'll then craft compelling messages using social media to initiate conversations and build relationships. Qualifying leads through active listening and insightful questions will be a key part of your responsibilities. You'll also be involved in executing and evaluating outreach strategies to optimize their effectiveness. Ultimately, your goal will be to set appointments between qualified prospects and our sales executives, facilitating the sales process.
