As a Sales Executive for Data and Decision Solutions at FIS, you will be at the forefront of driving growth for our cutting-edge solutions across the financial services landscape. This role focuses on acquiring new business and expanding our footprint within Credit Unions, Banks, and Corporates. You will be responsible for selling products that empower real-time decisioning, enhance identity verification, deliver valuable data insights, and enable data monetization in the dynamic world of banking and payments.
Your day will be a mix of strategic planning and hands-on execution. You'll kick things off by reviewing your pipeline and prioritizing outreach to prospective clients. You'll connect with key stakeholders – CROs, CIOs, and leaders in Fraud/Identity, Data Science, and Payments – to understand their challenges and identify opportunities where FIS solutions can make a tangible impact. You'll craft compelling narratives that showcase the value of our offerings, focusing on risk reduction, revenue enhancement, and cost savings. Proposal preparation is also a key part of the day, leveraging internal resources like product marketing and data science to tailor solutions for complex use cases, such as KYC, account opening, fraud prevention, and credit risk assessment.
Negotiating deals, navigating internal approvals (InfoSec, legal, compliance, procurement), and collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, data science) will also fill your days. You'll be a central point of contact, ensuring that customer needs are met and that our solutions deliver successful outcomes. Expect to balance strategic relationship-building with the tactical execution required to close deals and drive revenue growth.
While this role is based in Jacksonville, Florida, FIS also offers remote work options, expanding your reach and work-life balance.
