Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. (experience)

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release management. (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Manage, tune, and support enterprise environments across AIX, Linux, and Windows Server.
  • Support and optimize Oracle databases, IIS web infrastructure, and load balancers.
  • Ensure operational excellence in backup/restore, patching, DR, and capacity management.
  • Provide enterprise application support for mission-critical in-house systems.
  • Own, manage, and execute deployments across UAT, Production, and DR environments.
  • Maintain and optimize deployment runbooks, build artifacts, and environment promotion workflows.
  • Implement safe-deployment strategies including blue/green, canary, rolling, and feature-flag-based releases.
  • Coordinate with development and DevOps teams to ensure deployment readiness.
  • Troubleshoot deployment issues, manage rollbacks, and ensure post-release stability.
  • Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment predictability, reliability, and auditability.
  • Integrate deployment telemetry into observability tools to detect release-related anomalies early.
  • Enforce deployment quality gates, configuration consistency, and compliance requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement of release processes, reducing manual steps and eliminating deployment toil.
  • Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks and reliability issues.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents promptly.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure the reliability and security of our systems.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new infrastructure and systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in SRE and DevOps.
  • Participate in capacity planning and performance testing activities.
