The Fleet EHS Supervisor role at PepsiCo in New Cairo, Egypt, is pivotal in upholding our zero-harm commitment across non-commercial fleet operations. Reporting to senior EHS leadership, you will oversee environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs for deployment fleets, ensuring compliance with PepsiCo standards and local regulations. This full-time position demands a proactive leader skilled in risk mitigation, incident management, and capability building to enhance safety culture and performance.
Key focus areas include budget alignment, incident investigation, safety program implementation, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous improvement through KPIs and audits. Ideal for EHS professionals passionate about fleet safety in the fast-paced food and beverage sector.
Identify, align, and allocate EHS budgets (Opex & Capex) for deployment fleets to eliminate risks and drive zero-harm initiatives. Maintain financial performance against Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets while enhancing EHS capabilities.
Conduct thorough root cause analyses for all fleet-related injuries and illnesses. Develop and track corrective/preventive actions to prevent recurrence, ensuring timely reporting per PepsiCo standards.
Champion safety programs across locations: partner with HR for driver selection/hiring, lead annual route risk assessments, define safety rules, govern monitoring devices, and update programs yearly.
Work with facilities and workshops to enforce vehicle requirements (e.g., anti-lock brakes, airbags), preventive maintenance, registration, insurance, and Management of Change (MoC) processes. Review FTE transportation contracts for safety compliance.
Establish governance systems, conduct audits, trend analyses, and benchmarking. Lead KPI reviews, action plans, training programs, and dashboard reporting to elevate engagement and meet AOP safety priorities.
To excel as Fleet EHS Supervisor, candidates need 1-2 years of EHS experience, preferably in fleet safety. A valid driving license is mandatory, and professional EHS certifications (e.g., NEBOSH or equivalent) are highly preferred. Strong knowledge of functional EHS principles, regulatory compliance, and fleet management is essential. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills will set you apart, along with a passion for safety culture and continuous improvement.
