Key Responsibilities

As a Fleet Lead Technician 2, your daily impact includes:

• Performing preventive maintenance (PMs) and repairs with high independence using advanced technologies like PM voice apps, Noregon, and TAAS.
• Conducting advanced diagnostics across OEM platforms including Volvo, International, Freightliner, Maxon, EVs, and material handling equipment.
• Executing high-level repairs on engines, drivelines, after-treatment/emissions systems, and safety features.
• Adapting to alternative fuels like electric vehicles, CNG, and B100, building repair capabilities.
• Diagnosing failures, disassembling/repairing/reassembling parts, and maintaining detailed records such as vehicle logs and pre-trip checklists.
• Answering service calls, supporting one of North America's largest fleets, and upholding strict safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

PepsiCo seeks skilled professionals with:

• At least 18 years of age and ability to pass a Forklift Driving Skills test if applicable.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds, with movements like bending, reaching, climbing (accommodations considered).
• Required experience: Brakes Certification, hydraulic/air brake systems, after-treatment/emissions repairs (class 6-8 diesel), driveline repairs, and diagnostic platforms (Noregon, Snap-on, Nexiq, etc.).
• Own basic hand tools (diagnostics and high-tech equipment provided).

Helpful experience includes wheel/torque work, parts inventory, limited supervision, shop tools (welding, engine hoists), PM programs, computer use (iPad diagnostics), forklift repairs, OEM manuals, heavy-duty equipment, and gas/diesel engine repairs.
