Key Responsibilities

As a Fleet Technician 2, your daily tasks blend technical expertise with teamwork to uphold fleet reliability:

• Conduct preventive maintenance (PMs) and repairs using voice applications, Noregon diagnostics, Uptake predictive analytics, and TAAS.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and high-level repairs on engines, drivelines, after-treatment, emissions, and safety systems across platforms like Volvo, International, Freightliner, and more.
• Diagnose failures, disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts on class 6-8 diesel trucks, material handling equipment, and electric vehicles.
• Maintain accurate documentation, vehicle records, and pre-trip checklists while answering service calls.
• Support PepsiCo's safety culture by adhering to all standards and procedures, ensuring one of North America's largest fleets remains operational.

Daily Workflow

Expect a mix of independent work and coached support in clean, ergonomic facilities. From wheel torqueing and forklift repairs to inventory management and OEM manual adherence, every day brings task variety and skill-building opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• At least 18 years of age with physical capability to lift 50 pounds, bend, climb, and handle tools (accommodations considered).

• Proven track record in after-treatment/emissions repairs and driveline work on class 6-8 diesel vehicles.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools like Noregon, Snap-on, Nexiq, or similar.
• Ability to pass a Forklift Driving Skills test if applicable, and ownership of basic hand tools (advanced equipment provided).
