In this role, you'll work with high independence on preventive maintenance (PMs) and complex repairs across PepsiCo's diverse fleet, including automobiles, light/heavy trucks, vans, forklifts, and material handling equipment. You'll adapt to emerging technologies like electric vehicles (EV), CNG, and B100 fuels, diagnose failures, disassemble/repair/reassemble parts, maintain detailed records and pre-trip checklists, respond to service calls, and uphold PepsiCo's safety-first culture. Expect variety with shop tools, ergonomic equipment, and predictive analytics to keep the fleet running smoothly.
Leverage leading-edge tools for PMs using voice applications and TAAS systems. Handle everything from wheel torqueing to forklift hydraulic repairs, ensuring minimal downtime.
To succeed, you need at least 18 years of age, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and pass a forklift driving skills test if applicable. Essential qualifications include Brakes Certification, experience with hydraulic/air brake systems, aftertreatment/emissions repairs on class 6-8 diesel vehicles, driveline repairs, and proficiency with diagnostic platforms like Noregon, Snapon, Nexiq, or Altel. Bring your own basic hand tools—PepsiCo provides diagnostics, ergonomics, and high-tech gear. Helpful experience covers wheel removal/torqueing, parts inventory, independent work, shop tools (hoists, welding, tires), PM programs, computer use (iPad diagnostics), forklift repairs, OEM manuals, and heavy-duty equipment like class 8 trucks, liftgates, and Thermo King units. Physical demands include lifting, bending, climbing, and handling objects.
PepsiCo offers an unbeatable package starting day one: medical, vision, and dental coverage; company-provided retirement benefits; paid time off; and allowances for work boots. Receive a company iPad, iPhone, uniforms, PPE, and more. Enjoy clean facilities, world-class tooling, and a safety commitment that sets us apart.
