Key Responsibilities

As a Fleet Technician 2, your daily impact includes performing preventive maintenance (PMs) and repairs with high independence using voice-guided PM apps, Noregon diagnostics, Uptake predictive analytics, and TAAS. You'll handle advanced diagnostics across OEM platforms like Volvo, International, Freightliner, and Maxon, including electric vehicles and material handling equipment. Key tasks encompass high-level repairs on engines, drivelines, after-treatment/emissions systems, and safety features. Adapt to alternative fuels such as electric vehicles, CNG, and B100 biodiesel. Diagnose failures, disassemble/repair/reassemble parts, maintain detailed vehicle records and pre-trip checklists, respond to service calls, and uphold PepsiCo's safety-first culture.

Daily Operations

Work on diverse equipment in a dynamic shop setting, leveraging ergonomic tools and company-provided high-tech diagnostics. Support one of North America's largest fleets by minimizing downtime and maximizing safety.

Qualifications & Requirements

PepsiCo seeks experienced professionals with Brakes Certification and hands-on training in hydraulic/air brake systems. Required experience includes after-treatment/emissions repairs, driveline repairs, and engine work on class 6-8 diesel vehicles. Proficiency with diagnostic platforms like Noregon, Snap-on, Nexiq, or Altec is essential. Candidates must be 18+, pass a Forklift Driving Skills test if applicable, lift up to 50 pounds, and provide their own basic hand tools (diagnostics and specialty equipment supplied).
