Key Responsibilities

As a Fleet Technician 3 at PepsiCo, your daily tasks will keep the fleet running smoothly:

• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and repairs with a high degree of independence using voice applications and advanced diagnostics like Noregon and Uptake predictive analytics.
• Diagnose failures on diverse equipment, including automobiles, light/heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts; disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts as needed.
• Maintain precise documentation in vehicle software systems, including work orders, records, part reconciliation, and pre-trip checklists.
• Support PepsiCo's safety-first culture by strictly adhering to all standards and procedures.
• Leverage provided high-tech tools like TAAS for efficient, ergonomic repairs in clean, modern facilities.

Daily Workflow

Expect task variety, from oil changes and tire work to hydraulic brake repairs, all while working under limited supervision in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

PepsiCo provides extensive training, but these minimums ensure success:

• At least 18 years of age.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with movements like bending, reaching, climbing (accommodations considered).
• Own basic hand tools; company supplies diagnostics, ergonomics, and high-tech gear.
• Pass Forklift Driving Skills test if applicable.

Helpful experience includes PM programs, shop tools (hoists, welding, tires), hydraulic/air brakes, wheel torquing, independent work, and computer use for diagnostics on iPads or laptops.
