Role Overview

The Fleet Technician 3 (Entry Level) position at PepsiCo in Indianapolis, Indiana, is your entry point into a dynamic role essential to our supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventive maintenance (PMs) and repairs with high independence using advanced voice applications and diagnostic tools.
  • Diagnose failures on diverse vehicles, disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts as required.
  • Maintain precise documentation, including work orders, vehicle records, part reconciliation, and pre-trip checklists via company-provided iPad and software systems.
  • Support PepsiCo's safety culture by strictly adhering to all standards and procedures.
  • Work on one of North America's largest fleets, tackling everything from tire changes to hydraulic and air brake systems.

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds, with movements like bending, reaching, climbing, and handling objects (accommodations considered).
  • Own basic hand tools; diagnostic, ergonomic, and high-tech equipment supplied by PepsiCo.
  • Able to pass Forklift Driving Skills test if applicable.

Helpful experience includes:

  • Removing/replacing wheels to torque specs.
  • Working under limited supervision.
  • Using shop tools like engine hoists, welders, and tire changers.
  • PM programs, hydraulic/air brakes, and computer diagnostics.
